Swenco High Intensity Rare Earth Drum separator is a 15” Diameter drum Rare Earth magnetic circuit developing a peak intensity of 6500 gauss on the surface of the drum shell. The magnetic arc approximately spans 110 degrees.

When material flows onto the drum magnet, the stationary magnetic assembly inside the unit’s shell captures tramp metal and holds it securely to the drum’s stainless steel surface. With contaminants removed, the good product falls freely to a discharge point. As the drum rotates, cleats sweep the ferrous debris through and out of the magnetic field. The tramp metal is discharged separately, creating continuous self-cleaning separation.

The Drum is assembled in a mild steel housing (Stainless Steel –optional) and is provided with a two way discharge chute to separately collect the product and the magnetic contamination. Drum Magnet is designed for continuous separation and cleaning and is ideal for high- flow, heavy contamination applications.

As a standard the equipment is provided with a inbuilt Feed hopper and can also be provided with a Electro- mechanical vibratory feeder to feed material on to drum.

The Drum is available in different widths up to 60”.The HIRE Drum separator can also be supplied in 24” diameter.
